The journey back from Kaho, the easternmost village of India, was nothing short of spectacular. Riding through Arunachal Pradesh, I witnessed the bluest waters of the Lohit River, flowing even more vibrantly as it merged into the plains. A wrong turn led me to an unexpected, breathtaking view—sometimes, the best experiences come from getting lost.

After a night at Duda Lodge in Tezu, I made my way towards Sivasagar, Assam. Though the plan was to explore the historic town, the Himalayan needed urgent servicing to continue the ride. So, I made the call to move forward.

Then came an iconic moment—crossing the mighty Brahmaputra on a ferry with my motorcycle, heading towards Majuli, the world’s largest river island. Assam’s landscapes, the river, and the journey itself made this ride unforgettable.
