How to carry a bike with a small car using a Saris Solo 1 bike rack and false cross bar.

As a Breeze cycling champion I sometimes need to carry my bicycle on the back of my car to get to the start of a ride. While I cycle to the start whenever I can, sometimes I need to take the car.
Here I show how I load up my mountain bike on to the back of my Kia Picanto using a Saris Solo 1 bike rack and Halford's own false crossbar.
Due to having a ladies' bike I need to use the false cross bar to ensure the bike isn't attached at an extreme angle, so that it can hang better on the rack. I use Halford's own false cross bar but other cross bars and racks are available.
I also have a second rear number plate which I attach to the bike itself with cable ties or string as the bike wheels can partially obscure the rear number plate of the car when the bike is attached.
