WHITE HOUSE TIKTOK 
The White House has just launched an official account on TikTok less than a month before it could be banned. Overnight, the White House officially joined TikTok! It's already taken off, gaining more than 14,000 followers and 21,000 likes in just the first hour! But anyway, what makes the White House's move to TikTok interesting is that the app is about to be banned in the U.S. Originally, that was meant to happen in January of this year, but after President Trump pushed it back three times, it's now due to happen on September 17th. Mr Trump hasn't said whether TikTok's deadline will get pushed back again or not, so we'll have to wait and see what happens next.

NETANYAHU TAKES AIM AT ALBANESE
Tensions are rising between Israel's PM Benjamin Netanyahu, and our PM Anthony Albanese. Mr Netanyahu took to X last night, calling Mr Albanese a "weak politician" and accusing him of betraying Israel and abandoning Jewish Australians. It's the latest jab in a diplomatic spat between the two countries, sparked by the Australian Government announcing its plan to recognise a Palestinian state, and cancelling visas for several high-profile Israeli figures. Israel hit back by cancelling the visas of Australia's representatives to the Palestinian Authority.

METEOR SEARCH 
Researchers in Victoria are on the hunt for a rock that fell from outer space last week, because if they find it, they reckon it can unlock some secrets about space. Yep, these researchers are searching for some rocks, but they're not just any old rocks. They're looking for pieces of a Meteorite that lit up the sky last week in Central Victoria! It can be pretty hard to know exactly where a meteorite lands, researchers spend a lot of time analysing footage and crunching numbers to work it out. Their calculations landed them here in the farmlands of Western Victoria. To get there, they got some help from the Desert Fireball Network, a research group which uses cameras to track meteorites in the country. While their search hasn't uncovered any rocks yet, these meteor hunters say they'll be back to look for those special pieces of space treasure!

MOVING CHURCH
First up, to a very old church on the move in Sweden. It's being slowly rolled 5 kays across town to a new location to save it from sinking into the ground, due to a nearby iron ore mine that's expanding. The church weighs more than 600 tonnes and is 113 years old and it's taken years of planning to get to this moment.

CRYOPRESERVED TREES
Now to Queensland where these scientists are cryopreserving a critically endangered tree. There are only 380 angle-stemmed myrtle trees left in the wild, and they're under threat from a disease known as myrtle rust. But the hope is that, if they ever did go extinct, these frozen specimens could one day be used to grow new plants.

LONDON ZOO WEIGH IN
And finally to London where more than 10 thousand animals are being weighed as part of London Zoo's annual weigh in. Keepers sometimes have to get a bit creative, coaxing animals onto scales with tasty treats.
