Описание к видео Golden walking Canes of the 1800's (Victorian Britain)

In Victorian Britain the vast majority of people were in abject poverty, then there was the silver spoon society so called due to their use of solid silver cutlery. This may have included doctors, solicitors, politicians and successful traders. Then their were a minority of gentry of enormous wealth, Think Lords and Ladies, land owners and military leaders, these were the very highest echelon's of society. In this video I showcase a selection of Golden topped walking canes which would be carried by such people as a status symbol. I hope you enjoy this short video!
