How To Clean Telescope Optics

How To Clean Telescope Optics is a question often asked. We see our lens or mirror getting grubby and rush to polish it to a reflective shine once more. In truth we shouldn't clean our optics that often, but if they're really bad, really dusty or are beginning to impact image quality then it's time to clean.

In this video I'll walk you through my workflow from start to finish in only a few steps. Cleaning a refractor can take but a couple minutes, a large Newt will take longer.
