Hey guys, in this video, I explain how to get a retention offer on any credit card. Before we get to that, I discuss what a retention offer is and why you should care about them. Then I get into what you can expect from each of the major lenders (Chase, Amex, Capital One, and Citi) when you go to ask for a retention offer from them. Every lender is different and may not offer one to you, but at least after watching this video you can have more confidence as to how to ask for one from each of them. Lastly, I walk through my personal experience with requesting a retention offer on my Amex Gold card despite being in Amex pop-up jail for the Amex Platinum card.
