Tenkara Micro Fly Fishing On A Small Utah Stream

Tenkara micro fly fishing on a small Utah stream in late August. Utah provides many opportunities for great micro fly fishing throughout the state. This is a great time of the year to head up into the mountains as the leaves begin to make their transformation into fall colors. Big bugs and trout food are still in plenty which can make for a great day of dry fly fishing. Many people ask me why I like to target small trout. My response is that the adventure, solitude, and challenge is what draws me in. It's hard to beat the challenge and adventure that comes along with fishing for small native trout. For this trip, I fished with my 10.5' mini Teton rod made by Tenkara Rod Co. 10.5' was a little bit challenging because of the tight quarters that I was fishing, but it did come in handy for stealth. Like I've said before, you can't get a stealthier fly presentation than you can with a Tenkara rod. I hope you enjoy the video! Thanks, for checking out Fishiki.
