Blackpool Pleasure Beach: The Story of a Historic Amusement Park

Pleasure Beach Resort, an amusement park located in Blackpool, England is a classic seaside attraction with a history dating back over 125 years.

Beginning as a collection of rides on the resorts sandy shores the park has grown to the one we know today. Amassing a collection of classic rides, wooden roller coasters and modern steel attractions.

From the traditional Grand National and Big Dipper to newer rides such as the Big One and Icon, Blackpool has a collection of roller coasters and dark rides unlike any other in the United Kingdom.

Historic attractions Flying Machines, River Caves and Derby Racer can still be enjoyed while lost rides Virginia Reel, Wild Mouse and the Funhouse are no more.
