Round the World Motorcycle Travel on the BMW R1300 GSA!

We crossed the border from Kazakhstan into Kyrgyzstan on our round-the-world motorcycle journey, then climbed into the mountains where the temperature dropped fast. The pass was freezing, and by the time we came down the other side we were exhausted and still had no place to stay.

Eventually we reached the Chychkan Tourist Complex, where we cooked dinner on our stove — a warm meal after a long, cold day in the saddle.

This is what motorcycle world travel really looks like: unpredictable borders, tough weather, and making the road our home as we ride Storm, our BMW R1300 GSA, around the globe.
