I've made this video to give you the most realistic lung sounds assessment on the internet. I show you how to assess for lung sounds fast in the EMS setting and give you real examples of normal and abnormal lung sounds.

Every single lung sound is covered in this video: Wheezing, Rhonchi, Rales (pulmonary edema), Clear, Diminished, Absent and Stridor. First, we will listen to each sound, then we determine if we hear that sound what might be going on with your patient. Some EMT classes may call these breath sounds. This lesson is critical to your EMS education and will also prepare you for the NREMT cognitive exam.

We discuss the signs and symptoms that accompany these abnormal lung sounds. This EMT lecture is crucial to the EMT student's patient assessment for the respiratory patient. The NREMT exam will test your knowledge in this subject area.
