Stress can be high as we head into this time of year. Here are some tips to end the year well.

You as the leader set the tone for your team and for the organization. What a great opportunity to re-focus before this busy holiday season.

One of the ways that we as leaders get into miscommunication is by being stressed out and that can happen this time of year. It seems like as soon as November hits. It's a blur until New Year's. Trying to end the year strong, take care of clients, get ready for the next year, and on top of that, you have holidays and family expectations and travel. it can be easy this time of year to go on autopilot, to just try to make it through the holidays and I don't know about you
but I don't want to just try to make it through my work or my life.

My encouragement to you today is to take some time out. I want you to think about what's the outcome you most want in your work and in your business?
What would make you really proud if you were able to accomplish this by the end of the year? What would make you really proud or maybe even excited? And I want you to take a moment and write it down.

Use that as the filter to determine what goes on your list. What is it that you actually pay attention to and accomplish and do and what is it that you can let go on?

So the next thing I'd invite you to do is to consider your life outside of work
Now for some of you, you might be saying I don't actually have a life outside of work and if that's the case, use this season to get that right.

Think about how do you want to show up with the people that you care about most? So fast-forward with me to New Year's and look back on this season
I want you to think about what's something that you could do that would make you feel really good about how you showed up to those people. Write that down is the outcome you most want in your life outside of work.

Oh and one last thing... What can you do for you to make sure you're operating at your best? You don't have to wait until New Year's to take care of yourself. Pay attention to what you're taking into your body or exercise or to learn something new. So what is one thing you could do for you in the next few months
that would help you show up in the best way possible? In your work and your life, We all have 24-hour days. It's what you do with them that counts. So carve out some time today to be intentional and keep in front of you the outcomes that you most want to accomplish during this busy season.
