Vidushi, Kum, Amrutha Venkatesh, accompanied by Sri M.Rajeev, Sri S.J.Arjunganesh, Dr.S.Karthick and Payyannur Sri Govindaprasad inaugurated the Swathi Sangeethotsavam (an annual festival of Indian Classical music, held at the Kuthiramalika Palace, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India) from January 4th to 13th every year) with a fantastic concert, on January 4th, 2016.
Here, Amrutha renders the rare and beautiful composition by Maharaja Swathi Thirunal Rama Varma "Paalaya Maadhava" in raga Asaveri beautifully and follows it up with some super classy rounds of swarams.
