Let's make the Vieux Carré, a classic New Orleans cocktail. The Vieux Carre was created by bartender Walter Bergeron while working at the Carousel Bar. Vieux Carre stands for "Old Square" in honor of the French Quarters of New Orleans.

New Orleans has produced many popular cocktails, but the Vieux Carre has to be my favorite one! Cheers.

RECIPE: Vieux Carré

1oz | 30ml Cognac Brandy
1oz | 30ml Rye Whiskey
1oz | 30ml Sweet Vermouth
2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
2 Dashes Peychauds Bitters

Garnish: Lemon Peel, other popular options Orange peel or Cherry.

Add Ingredients to mixing glass and stir for 20-30 seconds.

This drink can be served up or over ice.

Garnish with Lemon peel.
