(10 Jun 1994) Jean-Marie Le Pen's far-right National Front held its final rally
on Thursday evening (9/6) before the European Parliament
elections. Le Pen rejected the future europe envisioned in the
Maastricht Treaty. Le Pen also rejected the free trade market, saying it does not create wealth, and is in fact destroying the French economy. The National Front is averaging 10 to 11 per cent in opinion polls.
