5 Reasons You Need an Underlight Angler and How to Get One

Underlight Angler time! The Underlight Angler is the artifact fishing rod added in Legion, and it's good for more than just fishing. Even if you can't stand fishing in WoW, you should really consider getting an Underlight Angler for your main WoW character! It's like unlocking flying, or getting bigger bags- a permanent upgrade, but to your swimming.

The Underlight Angler is powered up like all artifact weapons through artifact power, only this one uses fish! The key trait that we're really looking for on the Underlight Angler is called Underlight Blessing. The Underlight Blessing trait of the Underlight Angler artifact rod turns you into a shark when underwater (and not in combat) to give you a bonus 150% swim speed and unlimited water breathing. Combined with regular swim speed this is THE BEST swim buff in the game. Underlight Angler shark form is faster than any other swim form, and it's accessible on any class in WoW through the Underlight Angler.

Get the Underlight Angler by completing three requirements. Be level 110, have fishing skill 800 (easy to catch up while you're catching rare fish in Legion) and complete Bigger Fish to Fry by catching at least one of each type of rare fish in Legion. Use Arcane lures and purchase bait on the auction house to speed up that grind. You can only hold 1 of each kind of bait at once, but you really only should need one.
