Looking at recent comic book video games, there either really good, entertaining and time sync titles like the Arkham Series, or the PlayStation Spider-Man series, and the wicked Guardians of the galaxy game - OR they’re really bad like Suicide Squad kill the Justice League or Marvels Avengers, BUT - in the early 2000’s we had HEAPS of comic book video games to choose from, and while most of them were movie tie-in games, there were some gems in the bunch.

We had absolute classics like Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 and 2, X-men Legends (which, yeah they’re kinda the same as the ultimate alliance games) - but also Wolverine Origins game, you know the game that was better than the movie, and the Ultimate Spider-Man game, hell a lot of the Spider-Man games worked really damn well

But, there was one classic game, that this year turns 20 years old that i played the shit out of as a Kid - it was kind of a movie tie in game… kinda - well look its hero was voiced by the actor who portrayed him in the film, and it used the movie logo. But unlike Spiderman movie games or Batman movie games, it was brutal and released on consoles and PC 1 year after the release of the movie, and thats the 2005 release of The Punisher.
