Kawai CA95 noisy keys

Turns out to be the front rail which is causing a plasticky vibration... but how do I fix it?

Follow up: see this thread on Piano World http://www.pianoworld.com/forum/ubbth...

Basically you can undo some screws and tilt the whole key action upwards, to access the screws that hold the front rail (a long piece of white plastic with brass pins sticking out). Loosening and tightening these should alleviate any tension that leads to small gaps between it and the metal of the chassis.

I didn't report it to Kawai service because the warranty was only 1 year labour (hence expired), and I believe that an owner should take responsibility for maintaining his equipment. A shame that DP manufacturers aren't more helpful in providing guides on how to do this. (I think the theory is that they're maintenance-free, but the reality is different, especially as they get older.)
