It's the 1930s and The Great Depression. Life is filled with hardships, working tirelessly to scrape enough money together to feed your family, and of course, keep them clothed. Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to afford fabric from a department store, but you do need to dress your children somehow. Out of desperation, many women began using fabric from something they would also be using to make bread. The flour sack.
