Raag Bsant (ਬਸੰਤ) – New Beginnings.
Bsant denotes the changing of the season and the newness of spring. This Raag encourages the mind to brush away its selfishness, just like spring-cleaning removes all the cobwebs and creates a fresh start. There are feelings of hope and expectation of a new beginning and the start of a new cycle. However, these emotions are not dependent on the physical change of the season, but are an encouragement of an internal effort to change.

Mere Mun is a groundbreaking tribute to the timeless practice of Gurmat Kirtan. Released in 2001, it became recognized as the first-ever collection to feature 59 of the 60 Raags of Siri Guru Granth Sahib, later completed with the addition of Raag Aasaa Aasaavree.

Performed on traditional stringed Sikh instruments, the compositions evoke the profound emotional depth of each Raag, offering a a space for deep connection to the wisdom of the Sabd.

Mere Mun has served as an invaluable resource for students of Naad Yoga and Gurmat Kirtan enthusiasts around the world, preserving and celebrating the essence of one of humanity’s most powerful musical traditions.
