Flying into BAD weather - Final leg - Low and slow to BALADO (Scotland) - Part 5

The FINAL day of the Low and Slow to Balado ( Scotland) was all "down hill" as Mark called it. We made the legs shorter to keep the flight times to an hour stopping at Eccles Newton, some 30 miles south of East Fortune. After a quick splash of fuel we routed down to Athey's Moor airfield. The weather was quite thermic so we decided with conditions to fly down the coast for a smoother flight. Getting past Newcastle airspace, we tried to get inland and this is where things became difficult.

I hope this video inspires more pilots to note that you don't need to go fast, you don't need a Rotax 912, what you do need is mates to fly with to make the journey fun.
