Shop Made Ball Nose End Mill

I needed a two inch ball nose end mill to machine a couple dimples in an upcoming project so instead of buying an expensive tool that will likely never be used again I opted to make one from a bearing roller. I enjoy making my own tooling. This cutter was kind of a quick and dirty project, not much precision necessary, if I ever need a precision 2" ball nose end mill it will only require a bit more grinding. In the end of the video, I tested the tool in aluminum and steel to find out the cutter works excellent but my mill didn't like such a large two fluted tool, the table lock would not hold steady!
