The Story of Bengal E04 | Siraj-ud-Daulah’s Last Stand in Plassey | Faisal Warraich

Lord Clive, Mir Jaffar and Jagat Seth planned to overthrow Nawab Siraj-ud-Daulah. They brought him to the field of Plassey to end his reign. Lord Clive arrived there with 3,000 troops while Siraj-ud-Daulah had around 50 to 60 thousand troops. The battle of Plassey is a decisive event in Indian history. The British took over Bengal, Bihar and Orissa after this event.
