Hasy + Riley || MacArthur Place Wedding in Sonoma

Hasy and Riley first met through a dating app when they discovered that Riley's roommate used to date Hasy's sister. Their paths often overlapped, and they never knew it. They went on a couple dates and enjoyed their time together - but Riley had been through a really tough year, and needed to step back. As he said in his vows, it was the best decision he made.

Throughout the process of healing, he took the time to process what he really wanted from life. He connected with Hasy just as the pandemic began. These two [as their friend who officiated the wedding did a great job of sharing] made lemonade out the of the lemons we all were handed during 2020. Not being able to go out together, they spent time at home, really getting to deeply know each other. And they’ve never looked back.

Hasy and Riley had their wedding day at MacArthur’s Place in Sonoma. There are so many beautiful nooks to this place, where the light just pours in through the trees. They had a gorgeous outdoor ceremony, flipped for the outdoor reception.

I love that when I craft films - I get to listen to the toasts and the ceremony over and over. Just by taking in those words over and over, I feel that I know the couple even more than meeting them on their wedding day. And I wholeheartedly agree with what was said about them - Riley really is the nicest guy, and Hasy really is best friends with everyone she meets.
