SO You want to learn Agni, The Hindu God Of Fire?
You've come to the right Saga. The Agni Saga.
Ok, lame DBZ reference is over, but with Agni will shall begin.

First of all, the build is pretty simple. You want to start with Mage's Blessing, Tiny Trinket, 2 Health Pots and 1 Mana Pot.
Before I move on with the rest of the build, I will mention if you do need anti-heal, build it Divine Ruin in the 3rd slot.
With that aside, let's move on. In this order you want to buy these items:

Shoes of Focus or Magi. I prefer Magi for the pen, but that is up to you.
Bancoft's Talon. Lifesteal works really well with agni as his passive, his Noxious Fumes and his Path of Flames all do damage over time. Also, his Flame Wave and Rain Fire hit very hard, so that also comes in handy.
Spear of the Magus. This is super useful for gods that have a lot of Damage Over Time. It will shred enemy protections allowing you to deal as much damge as possible.
Agni can trigger this item on enemy gods with his Passive, Noxious Fumes or Path of Flames.
Rod Of Tahuti. The passive of Tahuti works so well with Spear of the Magus. When an enemy gods is below 50% of their HP, they will take increased damage from your abilites. This makes your Flame Wave and Rain Fire.
The last two items are Chronos Pendant and Obsdian Shard. In which order you build these depends on the game situation. If you need more pen grab Obsidian Shard first. If you feel more CDR is necessary, then opt for Chronos Pendant.

Quickly, let's go over Agni's Abilities and Damage Values.

Combustion: After 4 succesful basica attacks, enemies hit by Flame Wave or Rain Fire will take an extra 5 damage + 10% of your magical power for 6 ticks over 3 seconds OR 30 damage + 60%.
Noxious Fumes: Normally, this is only used, so that Agni can use another ability to stun a target. However, if you let it stay in the area for the full duration of 50 per tick plus 5%, OR 500 Damge + 50%.
Flame Wave: IMPORTANT - This ability persists for 1 second after the casting animation. This ability does 290 damage + 65%.
Path Of Flames: This ability ticks 4 times over 2 seconds. This will do 60 per tick + 15% per tick OR 240 + 60%. Also, for each time your enemy crosses over this ability, it resets the ticks.
Rain Fire: For every 18 seconds you gain one Giant Meteor of damage. This ability is free of mana cost. You can have up to 3 charges stored. CDR does effect the cool downs on this ability. This ability does 300 + 70%.
