For slow they are to anger, so they are,
But when at last they make up their minds,
To loose the wild fury within,
All the woods rise up raging alongside them.

The warhawks grow uneasy as the shadows stretch ever longer.
Creatures once hunted turn back on them that chased them,
and ye’d best keep a sharp eye for the fiercer beasts…
for they grow bold enough now to strike first!

The forests will fight, the arrows will fly.
One shot, one kill — fly true, so it will!
For Loren!
For Kurnous!
For Lileath!

Truth cuts deep — take their eyes!
Ye cannot hide.
I’ll strike ye down!
There’ll be no escape.
Kurnous, hunt them down!

Athel Loren will not suffer the tread of Men,
nor Orcs, nor Dwarfs, nor Beastmen, not a one.
If ever a foe sets but one foot on this sacred ground,
they’ll not be takin’ a second step, mark me words.

How would ye ever understand the likes of us?

Ye’re not of the forest; ye don’t walk the Green Way.
Yours is the scurryin’ of badgers, the flutter of starlings,
but all of it empty, meanin’ nothin’.
