The macro-element modelling approach implemented in the HiStrA code is an innovative tool for the seismic assessment of masonry structures. This model is based on a simple mechanical scheme, making it suitable for practical applications due to the low computation effort it requires when performing analyses. In addition to some of the existing procedures, namely pushover and modal analyses, new features have been implemented during the last year. These features correspond to time history analysis, line search procedures, and exponential and parabolic curves for tensile and compressive behaviours.
