On the evening of October 28th, 2022, the legendary country singer-songwriter born and raised in Maceo, Kentucky, Mr. Marty Brown was inducted into the Kentucky Music Hall Of Fame & Museum located in Mount Vernon, Kentucky. The induction ceremony was held at the Renfro Valley Entertainment Center which is adjacent to the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame. Alongside Marty Brown, other inductees included Carly Pearce, Tee D Young, Paul Yandell, Pete Goble, Tommy White, & Norah Lee Allen. Ricky Skaggs made a surprise showing as well. The beautiful auditorium was packed full of the inductees' family, friends, managers, bands, & fans.

The ceremony was quite an amazing entertaining event with heartfelt speeches, amazing performances, & such gratitude from each of the 2022 selected inductee artists.

The performance by Marty Brown of Bob Dylan’s song, Make You Feel My Love was outstanding. You could have heard a pin drop in the audience at the first crack of his voice. His performance had the listeners so still seated as they were drawn to his unbelievable voice. A voice, that sparked all eyes watching him & left many in chills from the beginning of his sound throughout to the very last note.

This powerhouse unbelievably talented artist showcased one grateful & humble smile as he watched the audience rise to their feet giving him a standing ovation. His down-to-earth country roots, gratitude to all, style, friendliness, & heart has always remained the same throughout his music career that began in the early ’90s. Marty has remained the same good ol’ Kentucky country boy he was before ever stamping his first footprints on The Grand Ole Opry stage or signing his first record deal with MCA Records.

What an incredible career & life journey he has endured over the past three decades. Referred to as the “Rocky Bao Boa of Country Music” because he keeps getting back up and coming back stronger than ever before. A drive stilled in him by his father, Mr. Vincent Brown. His talent and love for country music came from both his parents, Vincent & Barbara Brown.

Congrats, Marty Brown.
