January Contreras, Arizona attorney general candidate, spoke with azcentral

The Arizona Republic hosted a live interview with attorney general hopeful January Contreras, aiming to inform voters about the Democratic candidate's professional background and policy positions.

The 30-minute interview was live-streamed on azcentral.com, replacing a debate The Republic attempted to host. A representative for incumbent Republican Attorney General Mark Brnovich declined the debate invitation.

Brnovich has agreed to a 30-minute interview with The Republic, which will air at 7 p.m. on Oct. 22.
