A RARE sight on the Larne/Londonderry line.
On the morning of Thursday 29th August 2024 208 & Enterprise DeDetrict set 9002 are seen at Whiteabbey & Mossley West working a test run.

First 208 & 9002 are seen powering past Whiteabbey bound for Templepatrick

Then the set is seen passing Mossley West while en route from Templepatrick back to York Road.

9002 has been out of service for a few months & a test run was required before it returns to service. & Due to the line from Belfast to Lisburn being closed it meant the Rare opportunity of a DD ran on the Londonderry line & a 201.

The furthest a DD has ran on the Londonderry line is Ballymena.
