The Krabi Boat Lagoon Resort & Marina in Krabi, Thailand was the first place we stayed after arriving in Thailand. Once we landed at Krabi International Airport we got a Grab (basically the Uber of SE Asia) and headed to the resort. It was only about 15 -20 minutes from the airport.
We were greeted by the resort staff and were shown around the property. It was very clean and very beautiful.
They showed us the restaurant and bar located near the check in area and lead us to our pod. We had an amazing space right on the marina with a view of the boats and the sunset in the evenings. The pods had electrical outlets for many countries so as traveling Americans we didn't have to use our outlet adapters, even though we had them.
The resort is exceptionally quiet and secluded even though it's only 25-30 minutes away from Krabi Town. This was perfect for us and we enjoyed the peace and traquility after being in the loud and tight city of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. The downside to this was that the on site restaurant and bar are the only places to get food or drinks in the area. The resort is just far enough away that we were not able to get Grab to take us to a store or anywhere away from the resort. Thankfully the resort staff was amzing and kind and helped us with a ride into town to get snacks and drinks.
For the most part we stayed on the property the next 3 days and just relaxed and enjoyed the amenities. My favortie was the fish shaped pool next to the gym.
If you visit the Krabi Boat Lagoon be sure to say hello to Garn. She runs the restaurant and bar and has a sweet dog named Sky.

The hardstand accommodates 100 boats. Two marine travel lifts with capacity from 30 tons up to 60 tons, forklift services up to 3 tons, a large concrete work area (hardstand), and a concrete boat ramp 7.8 meters wide.
