Emptying the OGO composting toilet from ToMTuR is simple, convenient and environmentally friendly. With the safety hooks open, the urine and solids container are removed via the front of the toilet.

"With conventional chemical or cassette toilets, disposal is only possible as hazardous waste at appropriate disposal stations.
This is completely different with our environmentally friendly OGO composting toilet.

All the waste left behind is compostable organic waste, which many of our customers use to fertilise their gardens. The same applies to the contents of the liquid container. Diluted with water in a ratio of 1:10, it can be used to water non-edible plants in your own garden.

A sensor that measures the fill level of the urine bottle ensures ease of use. If the red button lights up, it is time to empty it very soon.
With regular emptying of the urine bottle every 2-3 days, everything remains pleasantly odour-free.

The urine bottle may be emptied in any toilet, in drains and even in nature, or on the high seas.

Until emptying, one substrate filling is sufficient for about 20 to 30 toilet uses. With full-time use by 2 people, this corresponds to about 2 weeks.
To protect the agitator motor, the OGO composting toilet has a thermal fuse. If the agitator switches off prematurely after only a few seconds, it is time to empty the toilet contents. Don't worry, the fuse will switch back on once it has cooled down. It does not need to be replaced!

The solids bin contentes can be conveniently disposed of with the residual waste or compost. In an emergency, even burial in the forest is allowed.

The composting process starts at 13 °C. The warmer the environment of the solids container, the faster the composting process starts. This makes emptying the composting toilet as easy as emptying an old flower pot.

Many motorhome or boat owners simply leave the contents of the solids bin in the toilet over the winter. Emptying between two trips is not necessary. Both frost and high temperatures do not harm the filled composting toilet solids container - but we recommend a insect screen at the vent end.
