This gluten free and eggless royal icing recipe might be messy, but it's sure tasty AND hardens.

RECIPE:

Ingredients
4 cups powdered sugar
6 tsp. water
1/4 cup corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla.
food coloring (if necessary)

Procedure
1) Mix the powdered sugar and water on high until it's consistent in texture.
2) Add the vanilla and corn syrup and continue to mix.
3) Add the food dye, if not of the desired consistency, add more corn syrup.
4) Pipe your designs on waxed paper, and wait at least 24 hours before trying to peel them off. (Depending on the size it could take more or less time!)
