Get ready for the juiciest burger of your life! 🍔 These butter burgers start with our Ultra-Premium Ground Beef and then we add butter for an insanely juicy and rich patty. This is a must-try recipe!

How to Make Butter Burgers
Burgers:
2 lbs Omaha Steaks Ultra-Premium Ground Beef
1 stick unsalted butter, frozen
2 tsp kosher salt
2 tsp fresh black pepper
2 tbsp rendered bacon fat, or neutral oil
4 slices American cheese
4 brioche buns, toasted

Onions:
2 large onions, sliced thin
2 tbsp dark brown sugar
⅓ cup beef stock
1 tsp kosher salt

Directions:
1. Using a fine box grater, grate the frozen butter into a large mixing bowl. Then add the ground beef to the butter. Using your hands, mix the meat and butter together till the butter is well incorporated. Then, form 4 equal-sized patties, being careful not to over work the patties. Season the patties on both sides with salt and pepper.
2. Add the rendered bacon fat or neutral oil to a large frying pan over medium high heat. When the fat just starts to smoke, add the patties to the pan. Allow them to cook for 2-3 minutes before flipping them. Add the cheese to the burger and allow them to cook an additional 2-3 minutes or until desired doneness is achieved.
*Option - The cheese can also be melted using an inexpensive cheese melting pan, and then added to the burger for some extra gooey cheese.
3. Remove the patties from the pan and place them on a cooling rack to rest. NOTE* The burgers will be dripping, a double layer of paper towel under the cooling rack helps prevent a messy clean up.
4. Add the sliced onions into the hot pan, and allow them to cook down in the rendered fat for two minutes, until they start to soften. Then, deglaze the pan with the beef stock, and add in the brown sugar and salt. Move the onions around the pan often, until they are dark and caramelized, about 5 more minutes.
5. Place the burger patties on a toasted bun, top with caramelized onions and serve hot with Omaha Steaks Gourmet Steakhouse Fries.
