Think tea is only for drinking? Wrong! We're eating an entire meal made of tea in Taiwan! The Maokong area in Wenshan District is famous for its tea farms and tea houses. Taking the gondola up the mountain and spending the day enjoying the tea plantations is a perfect day in Taipei and must include a tea house with a view of the city. Of course you can drink local tea at the tea house, but what's really exciting is eating a meal prepared using different parts of the tea plants. We've eaten a lot of meals around Taiwan but this one is totally unique. Highly recommend!
