Lou Pinella (then the Manager of the Seattle Mariners) got kicked out of a game against the Cleveland Indians on Wednesday, August 26th, 1998 for arguing a double play call. Pinella thought that Enrique Wilson missed the tag on the runner before throwing to first to complete the double play. After getting ejected by the umpire Lou took off his cap and kicked it around before leaving the game. This game was the 275th consecutive sellout at Jacobs field back then. The ceremony where Slider changes the number denoting the number of sellouts appears at the beginning of this video.
