In closed loop dual capstan drive cassette decks, intercapstan tension is very important. Generally Take-Up capstan shaft have 0,2% higher speed then Supply capstan shaft so in reality, tape is stretched all the time...or slips...or...
Now here is short 1st test of home made tentelometer. Of course we need starting point...reference, but this will be done after measurements of many decks which have good intercapstan tension. So far i'm very satisfied with results, but will will make another one which will be little modified....
