*All testings are set using the same track conditions as the Le Mans 700PP event which is fuel at 6x & tire wear at 10x. All cars tested mostly fully tuned with all available parts installed. PP requirements met by adjusting weight, power restrictor, etc². All cars go through a clean 1 lap run on fuel map 6 repeated 3x & the fastest time is selected.

Conclusion:
The second Volvo added in 1.48 & the first wagon in GT7! Wagons have been rising in popularity lately & hopefully Polyphony adds more in the future. Now the 240.. We used to have the older '88 240 GLT way back in GT4-GT6 which was slightly more powerful than the "newer" '93 SE model but at least it has come back to GT updated & detailed. The 240 as you might expect is quite slow even when fully tuned only managing at its best 4.22 on fuel map 1 & 4.36 on fuel map 6. I would recommend to run this at map 1 obviously since you can still get 3 laps of fuel consumption. Handling it is quite tail happy but manageable & brakes are quite good as well since for a car of this size is surprisingly light. Overall, hopefully the 240 gets a more powerful engine swap in a future update since irl it's a popular car to do so. Right now, just like V40 you could probably run this on events with a lower PP level say 600-650. For 700 however is still doable but maybe you need to turn down the AI a notch. Plenty of better options for 700 anyways so I wouldn't bother unless you want to try & give yourself a challenge.
