Making a Flying Jib For My Lugger And Dry Fitting The New Battery Box

I think this is the first time in 4 weeks we've been at the lake so plenty to do and get on with today.

There are 2 big things I want to do today. The first is to see if I can use my Mirror dinghy jib as a flying jib for the Lugger. An experiment indeed but looking at the sail size it's just about right. I think if we can maybe re-sew a better shape to it then it could be a winner.

The other big ob is to prep the boat and dry fit the new battery box. I htink we're back to square one on this one, but we've learnt a lot and should have this fitted quickly.
