Final Fantasy 9 probably has my favourite soundtrack from any game (tied with Chrono Cross). I believe that, coupled with FF6, the music of FF9 is Nobuo Uematsu's finest work! He composed the entire score of every FF from 1-9, as well as 1/3 of FF10, about 1/5 of FF11, and all of FF14. I worked very hard on this one (I was meticulous and thorough with every note, fermata, tempo, time signature, key and instrumental adjustment). This is true of all of my orchestral work, but I had a vested interest in getting this one to sound just so. Hopefully, this medley will bring back nostalgia! I tried to include a variety of melodies in this piece, some fun and adventurous, some sombre and sweet, others haunting. I will note that the person singing in Song of Memories is me (since a couple people have privately asked me where I got the audio from.)
