How to Install a Performance Belt Drive Timing Set on Your Engine

Compared to a standard timing chain, a belt driving timing setup helps improve valve control because the belt absorbs the many small shocks from combustion normally transmitted from the crankshaft to the cam. Engine builder Nick Ramey of Roush Yates Engines shows how to install their custom belt set for Ford engines, but the process is similar for most belt drive kits.
