In this video, I give my perspective on when is the best time to exit public accounting based on your goals. It’s best to plan what role you want to have in 10 years, whether that’s CFO or Controller, and plan accordingly. The number of years spent in public accounting plays a huge role in what you can achieve. But more years doesn’t necessarily mean better results.
