Mir Bajar Khan settled his elder son Mir Nutak Khan in Multan and appointed him as the chief of all the Baloch tribes. The chieftainship of the Jatoi clan descends through the eldest son of Mir Notak Khan, Mir Lohar Khan, to his descendants, known by the distinctive title of Loharat.
