February 23, 2025 marks the final day of Fran Day’s tenure as President and CEO of Future Generations University.

Board of Trustees Chair, Daniel Taylor, offers a message of appreciation and a look to the future on behalf of the Board. He shares: 

“Fran, two years ago you added the extensive duties of President to those of a sitting trustee with a three-year term. The Board of Trustees appreciated your commitment then to an institution that has remembered your important role in its founding two decades ago, returning to its board twenty years later, then adding to that service the role of Transitional President following my tenure.

As you now wrap up that kind transitional leadership, on behalf of the Board of Trustees I extend our thanks. We welcome you back as a Trustee to continue your term. In that role on our board you will now bring valuable added perspective from having been in our administration.

And with that appreciation to you, we welcome also Jayne Engle on as President. Future Generations University is thrilled to show this continuation of strength.
