🏘🌍 World Cities Day – Khanewal | People-Centered Smart Neighborhoods

On 8th October 2025, we celebrated World Cities Day in Khanewal, bringing together students, women, community members, and local partners to reimagine what people-centered, smart, and sustainable neighborhoods look like.

Through participatory activities and open dialogue, the community — especially women and children — shared their aspirations for safer, greener, and more inclusive living spaces.
This day reaffirmed a simple truth: housing is more than a structure; it’s a shared ecosystem shaped by the people who live in it. ✨💡

We are grateful to UN-Habitat (United Nations Human Settlements Programme), our partners, and especially #Dr_Salma_Suleman (Deputy Commissioner Khanewal) for their leadership and support in making this day meaningful and impactful.
