Can you believe you can get this amazing edible mock leather with no molds!?🤩

Im so excited to share how I invented this edible leather texture. Not only does it look like leather,  the texture feels exactly like leather and it's edible too!  Here’s how easy it is!


Edible Leather Fabric recipe
All you need

30g gelatine powder
60g water
60g white chocolate
1 tsp glycerine
Any oil based colour of your choice

Add the water in the gelatine powder and let it rest for 10 mins to bloom.

Now microwave till gelatine dissolves.

Melt white chocolate and add it to the gelatine mixture.

Add 1 tsp glycerine and mix well.

Finally add the oil based colour ( you can also skip this step and use dust colour after peeling the fabric)

If necessary warm it for a few seconds to make sure its a liquid consistency.

Now spread on acetate sheet/ non stick mat with a spatula

Wait a 5- 10 minutes, you’ll notice it has set and feels like a stretchable fabric.

If you didn't add colour before you can use dry dust at this stage.

Leave it for a few days.

Once it feels rubbery, blow dry it and crumple to get the leather texture.
