Abstract: This research utilizes Neo4j to create a graph database to represent components of a facility model and their spatial relationships. A graph-based digital twin is proposed for a 2-story facility by embedding systems-centric data into the graph and linking it to the building’s Navisworks BIM using a Python script. The outputs of this study include a new ontology for creating graph-based digital twins, implementation of the graph, and Python script to link the graph to the model. Linking dynamic data to the graph model is explored. This approach can improve the representation and understanding of facility systems and their interrelationships."
