Kep-sur-Mer or 'La Perle de la Côte d’Agathe', as it was also lovingly called under French Indochina rule, is Cambodia’s smallest province in the far southeast of the country.
Krong Kep is surrounded by Kampot province and consists of a small seaside settlement with stunning abandoned villas dating back to the early 20th century French-colonial period and more contemporary '60s style villas of the 'New Khmer Architecture' movement.
