This the third time I've played and posted a Bass side attempt at this song. The last time was back on September 18th of 2024 and the score on that had come out to 99.7% Accuracy. On this attempt, I was honestly hoping I might manage the 100%'er but alas, that didn't happen. Even so, I did manage to raise my score up to 99.9% Accuracy here. More specifically, 99.92% but it was played in Score Attack Mode where all the other attempts I posted before this were in Learn A Song Mode. The difference is Score Attack Mode gives you a 4 digit score while Learn A Song only gives 3 digits.

My best and still standing score in Learn A Song is still 99.7% and I tried it there first but when I failed to raise it, I moved to this mode to see exactly how many I was missing. In Learn A Song, if you don't improve further, you only get a 2 digit score so it would have simply said 99% and that wouldn't tell me much because anything over 99.0% would tell me that. If I had played this in Learn A Song, it would have raised the score there to 99.9% Accuracy and that's what I would see when I returned to it next time. I didn't though so the next time I'll come back and I'll only see 99.7% and I'll likely have forgotten I scored this here. It takes me probably a year or so to cycle through all the different songs and tuning schemes on both 6-String and Bass which is why that happens.

Even so, this is the first 99.9% Accuracy I've gotten so it's the best I've scored on this song which I really love a lot. This is one of my favorite songs by this band who are one of my favorite bands so I'll call it a win. It's also the first time I've played it with strings designed to tune down this low as well so it's the best sound even with the score aside. The difference between a 99.7% score and a 99.9% score is likely not more than a Note or Two Missed vs Hit so it's not a lot but it's something.
