Daniel Garbin Quintet | Almost Forgotten - Like Satch

From Daniel Garbin's "Rising" album, "Almost Forgotten - Like Satch" is an homage to the melodies composed by ‪@JoeSatriani‬ . This video was recorded live at the Romanian Cultural Institute in New York in January 2024. In this to be remembered performance, we first hear Daniel Garbin’s intricate guitar solo - an unique and virtuosic jazz fusion with rock elements - followed by an intoxicatingly high in the clouds of the altissimos sax solo of Scott Litroff . Next is ‪@CamilaCortina‬ 's beautiful piano solo filled with rhythmic melodies and unexpected harmonies. The audience is mesmerized again and again…and yet again by the solo on bass. Here, ‪@NoamTanzer‬ dazzles the crowd. Throughout the performance Varun Das plays drums with such utmost feel. It all ends with a super energetic outro that is precisely cut mid measure.
