The Amtrak Empire service is a heavy rail route that operates from New York Penn Station to Niagara Falls, New York, with most of the trains terminating at Albany-Rensselaer, located in Rensselaer, New York, just right across the Hudson River from Albany. The entire train ride is exactly 9 hours and 6 minutes long. The train ride between New York Penn Station and Albany-Rensselaer is 2 hours and 30 minutes. The train consisted of a P32AC-DM locomotive number 715 and five amfleet phase I coaches. Enjoy the video.
